My first mobile application was written on a Palm device ten years ago. It was so unbelievable. Indeed in my palm I held a computer that was on par with an old PC AT that used to be my first machine. My application showed all the 256 colors that were possible on Palm IIIc. Later I tried some OnBoard C and implemented Wolfram’s rules.

Python on Symbian devices gave you a lot of possibilities. Unfortunately I did not have a high end device so the input via the numeric keyboard was very awkward. Programming on the go was not practical.

Today with applications like Codea you can program directly on a tablet, with a nice graphical environment. It so happens that Codea is based on Lua, so my mobile programming made a full circle.
